Don't know who needs to hear this…

But Peace looks like Boredom to People Who Grew Up In Chaos.

If you keep swimming in Drama in your business - it may be a sign your Nervous System needs to be reset and shown a new way.

It's very common for people who grew up in systems of uncertainty, inconsistency and even neglect to forge a path to entrepreneurship.

The uncertainty of business.

The freedom of being your own boss and the constant emotional rollercoaster of each day can be very attractive to nervous systems who learnt to thrive solo in chaos.

We say this as 2 people who grew up in chaos ourselves and had to retrain our own nervous systems to find presence, peace and new possibilities in adulthood.

We had to learn how to trust and how to call Bullshit on the expectation that chaos and drama was normal.

We luckily had each other to fact check each other’s assumptions and call the other to account when we were slipping back…

Most people try to do that alone - without the support of a community and it’s about 200x harder (actual stats).

What typically happens is that:

  1. Your aptitude for chaos brings chaos into the team (and your team cannot necessarily thrive in chaos!)

  2. This whirlwind typically creates a toxic culture which makes staff retention a challenge!

  3. Your chaos formula relies on you managing SOLO (read that again) - which put walls of control around you blocking genuine support

If this sounds like you and you're now craving peace and stability, the shift comes not from out there, but from you learning how to reset and ground your nervous system to a new way of being.

If you need some help with that, that's our forte.
